Voc\u00ea est\u00e1 come\u00e7ando a imaginar as castanhas assadas, o vinho, e o Dia de Santo Andr\u00e9.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Havia castanhas em outubro deste ano, mas eram brancas.  <\/p>\n\n<div Andr\u00e9, 30 de novembro, ou melhor, na v\u00e9spera desse dia, 29 de novembro \u00e0 noite, desde que me lembro, as crian\u00e7as corriam os \u00abcacharros\u00bb pela rua do bairro, e os adultos bebiam vinho novo enquanto cortavam castanhas (eram cortadas para n\u00e3o explodirem no calor).  <\/p>\n\n<p>Em algumas aldeias como Icod, tenerife, eles t\u00eam o h\u00e1bito de \u00abcorrer as pranchas\u00bb naquela noite. Crian\u00e7as e adultos atiram-se para cima de uma t\u00e1bua de madeira, individualmente ou v\u00e1rias ao mesmo tempo, descendo rampas que terminam com uma parede de pneus para terminar a travagem.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Os-potes\"><\/span>Os potes  <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>Os tachos s\u00e3o recipientes, especialmente latas, que est\u00e3o amarradas a uma corda ou fixadas a um fio, rastejando no ch\u00e3o para fazer o m\u00e1ximo de barulho poss\u00edvel. Quando era pequena, disseram-me que o costume vem de quando os barris foram arrastados pela rua para as caves e os Guachinches. Outros dizem que tomaram o mar dias antes para lavar os barris. De qualquer forma, \u00e9 muito divertido para as crian\u00e7as, mas tamb\u00e9m para os mais velhos. Que foi depositado dentro dos barris que supostamente rolaram mais tarde pela rua.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Antes da refei\u00e7\u00e3o ser preparada, o vinho acompanhou-o com \u00abchochos\u00bb (altramuces), \u00abmanises\u00bb (amendoins), ou similares. E para o jantar; castanhas assadas, batata-doce, mojos e peixe salgado, entre outras iguarias. E com toda a fam\u00edlia.<\/p>\n\n<p>Se tiver a oportunidade de vir \u00e0s Ilhas Can\u00e1rias nessas datas, convidamo-lo a desfrutar deste costume.
